Seven Sunny Days

Seven Sunny Days

The start of the ski season is just around the corner and some resorts have already begun to open their chair lifts, however riders are left at the base area waiting for more snow, with no more then a few green runs open at the closest resort to my residence, I find myself impatiently waiting for more snow.

To help keep myself occupied while I wait for the big snowfall I picked up the latest DVD release from Matchstick Productions entitled “Seven Sunny Days”, this film like others from MP line took me on a journey around the world with some of the best free riders around, and it also reminded me to start exercising for the season as I watched Ingrid Backstrom take on a tree stump and live to talk about it, and show us a pretty gnarly bruise… no big deal.

The progression of free skiing continues to impress me as Shane McConkey shows us the latest in wingsuit ski-BASE jumping, and CJ Johnson takes us through his recovery from a coma he suffered in a free ski accident last season and his drive to again become one of the best free skiers around.

I highly recommend this film and am patiently waiting for the snow gods to send us some love.
